Frisbee - Schwanhausser
After only a few months of dating, Meganne Elizabeth Frisbee and Stephen Roger Schwanhausser were ready to get married. On their five-month anniversary, Stephen decided to propose, but he wanted it to be a surprise, so he told Meg he was not ready for marriage and needed more time. Five days later he presented her with diamond earrings for Christmas to throw her off his trail. After exchanging gifts they drove to Ridgefield to see the holiday decorations in his hometown church. While standing in the aisle, he got down on one knee and presented her with a rose and an engagement ring.

The couple was married by Father William Costello at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in East Falmouth, Massachusetts. The bride wore an off-white silk designer gown and a veil sewn by her mother — a family tradition. A reception followed at the Wianno Club in Osterville on a cliff overlooking the Atlantic Ocean.

The bride is a 1999 graduate of New Canaan High School and received a bachelor’s degree in human development from Boston College. She is a sales representative for International Flavors & Fragrances in New York City, where the couple resides. Her parents are Christine Kenny Frisbee and Richard D. Frisbee III of New York City.

The groom is a graduate of Ridgefield High School and Bucknell University, where he received a bachelor’s degree in English. He is an associate with Heidrick and Struggles in New York City. His parents are Roger and Carol Schwanhausser of Ridgefield.

For their honeymoon, the couple spent two weeks visiting the Greek islands.
