Lesko-Holland Jr
Courtney Elizabeth Lesko and Michael Francis Holland Jr. grew up in New Canaan, where they were childhood friends, skating at the New Canaan Winter Club and competing against each other in tennis matches at the country club — where the bride soundly triumphed over her future husband.
The Reverend Dr. Gary A. Wilburn and Monsignor William J. Scheyd married the couple at the Presbyterian Church of New Canaan. A reception followed at the Country Club of New Canaan.
The bride is a graduate of the New Canaan Country School, Deerfield Academy and the Annenberg School at the University of Pennsylvania, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in communications. She is a global sales associate with Thomson Financial in New York City. Her parents are James and MaryLee Lesko of New Canaan.
The groom is a graduate of New Canaan High School and Harvard College, where he majored in government. He is an investment analyst with Trimaran Advisors, a credit-based investment firm in New York City. His parents are Michael and Louise Holland of New Canaan.
After a honeymoon trip to South Africa, the couple returned home to Manhattan.
