MacPhail-Adair
Paige Campbell MacPhail and Michael James Adair met in the fifth grade at a ballroom dancing class. Those lessons paid off, as they put their skills to the test this past summer when they were married by the Reverend Harold E. Masbeck III and Deacon Louis F. Howe in a ceremony at the Congregational Church of New Canaan.

The bride’s sister, Brooke Ueberroth of Laguna Beach, California, served as matron of honor, and the groom’s sister, Tracy Simms of Darien, and Kathryn Holmstead of New Canaan, were two of seven bridesmaids. John Saunders of New Canaan was a groomsman, along with six others. The groom’s brother, William O. Adair of Nashville, Tennessee, was the best man. A reception followed at Woodway Country Club in Darien.

The bride received a bachelor’s degree in business management and Spanish from Gettysburg College and is a nursing student at the Massachusetts School of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. She expects to complete her degree in December 2008. Her parents are Margy MacPhail of New Canaan and Jack MacPhail
of New York City.

The groom received a bachelor’s degree in history from Boston College and is a May 2009 candidate for a master’s degree in business administration from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College. His parents are Patricia and William L. Adair of New Canaan.

After a honeymoon trip to Bermuda, the couple returned home to Hanover, New Hampshire.
