Sheila Walsh Ahern was working as a Realtor when a friend asked her to take Nathaniel Edward Mundy to see a rental property. In this real-estate transaction, “location, location, location” was perfect. Nat signed the lease and sealed the deal on the couple’s future relationship. Nine months later they were engaged.

The couple was married on the lawn of the Stamford Yacht Club, where the bride is a third-generation member. The Reverend Terry Elsberry, rector at St. Matthews Episcopal Church in Bedford, New York, and a close friend of the groom’s family, officiated as the 250 guests looked on. The couple’s twenty-four-member bridal party included local friends Sheldon Stevenson; Taylor, Alex and Chelsea Starkman; and Matt Wexler, all of New Canaan, and Eddie and Will Briganti of Darien.

The bride is a 1999 graduate of New Canaan’s St. Luke’s School. She received a bachelor’s degree in communications from Fairfield University and is a sales executive for Prudential Connecticut Realty in New Canaan. She is also an active member of the Junior League of Stamford-Norwalk. Her parents are Jennifer G. Ahern of Wilton and the late James F. Ahern. Donald Donahue, the bride’s stepfather, gave her in marriage.

The groom is a 2000 graduate of the Westminster School and received a bachelor’s degree in architecture from Hobart University. He is vice president of Grand Prix New York, a European-style indoor go-cart facility and corporate events center opening in Mount Kisco in October. His parents are Sarah and Edward Mundy
of Old Lyme, formerly of Bedford, New York.

Following a honeymoon in Bermuda, the newlyweds returned to New Canaan, where they live with their King Charles spaniel, Maggie, and their cocker spaniel, Ollie.

Tabitha Lyn Siciliano met Carl Martin Wunderlich in an employee-orientation class at the Dallas–Fort Worth Hyatt when she was about to begin work as a sales trainee. Fast-forward eight years: During a romantic vacation in the Cayman Islands, Carl proposed.

The couple was married by the Reverend John Livingston at the United Church of Rowayton. A reception followed at the Tokeneke Club. The bride wore her great-grandmother’s antique crystal earrings and bracelet, matching the trim on her wedding gown.

The bride is a 1994 graduate of Darien High School and received a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Clemson University. She is a senior sales manager at the Grand Hyatt in New York City. Her parents are Peter and Rebecca Siciliano of Darien.

The groom graduated from the University of North Texas with a bachelor’s degree in business administration in real estate and is an associate with Cushman & Wakefield in New York. His parents are Jan Kavanagh of Granbury, Texas, and Lynn Wunderlich of Arlington, Texas.

After a honeymoon trip to Hong Kong and Bali, the couple returned home to New York City.

Meredith Lynn DiMenna met Keith Thomas Saunders at the Carriage House recording studios in Stamford. She was singing and playing guitar as a solo artist and he was the bass player in a hip-hop band; neither can remember which came first, their musical or their romantic collaboration.

Six years later the couple was married by Dr. Arthur Caliandro at Marble Collegiate Church in New York City, with musical accompaniments by jazz guitarist Gene Bertoncini and vocalists Christopher Cain and the Marble Collegiate Choir. A lively reception followed at the Prince George Ballroom, with dancing to the Larry King Orchestra and entertainment by John Leone of Jersey Boys and recording stars Ashford & Simpson.

The bride is a 1991 graduate of Greenwich Academy and graduated cum laude from Colby College with a bachelor’s degree in English and performing arts. Her parents are Lynn and John DiMenna of Darien.

The groom is a 1991 graduate of West Hill High School and received a bachelor’s degree in environmental biology from Marist College. His parents are Eileen and Tom Saunders of Litchfield.

The newlyweds spent their honeymoon at the Villa Carlotta in Taormina, Sicily, where they attended the world premiere of Transformers at the 5,000-seat Teatro Antico, an ancient Greek amphitheater, during the Taormina Film Festival.

The couple lives in Bridgeport, where they own and operate a recording studio, a film and television production company, and a record label.
